This Privacy Policy applies to the MedShift application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”) provided by WorkTechAI (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider”).
The Application is provided free of charge and is offered “AS IS.”
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Collected Automatically
The Application may automatically collect the following information during use:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address of your device
- Pages visited within the Application, date and time of visits, and time spent on those pages
- Time spent using the Application
- Operating system of your mobile device
The Application does not collect precise location data (such as GPS location).
However, approximate location information derived from IP addresses may be used solely for service analytics and performance improvement purposes.
1.2 Personal Information Provided by Users
The Application collects only the minimum personal information necessary to provide its services:
- Email address
- User nickname
- User role (Nurse / Head Nurse)
This information is used exclusively for user identification, account management, and service operation.
No additional personal information is collected beyond the items listed above.
1.3 Information Generated and Stored During Service Use
For shift scheduling and group management features, the Application may store the following information generated during service use:
- Time-off (off-duty) requests submitted by nurses
- Group names (e.g., ward or team names)
- Group-level schedules and shift rosters
- Work conditions and scheduling rules used for roster generation
This information is used solely to provide Application functionality and is not used for direct personal identification or marketing purposes.
1.4 Information Generated Through Community Features
To provide community features, the Application may store the following information:
- Content of posts and comments
- Date and time of posting
- Whether content was posted anonymously or under a real name
- Reports submitted, report reasons, and moderation outcomes
While users may post content anonymously to other users, anonymity applies only at the user-facing level.
The Service Provider may identify the author when necessary for service operation, report handling, or legal compliance.
1.5 Recruitment Services and Resume Information
The Application provides job posting and recruitment-related features and may introduce resume creation and submission features in the future.
If resume features are used, the information entered by users may be used solely for the following purposes:
- Job applications and recruitment process management
- Providing resume information to recruiters or hiring managers for positions the user has applied to
Resume information is shared only through the user’s explicit action and is not used for purposes unrelated to recruitment.
2. Purposes of Information Use
Collected information is used solely for the following purposes:
- User authentication and account management
- Shift scheduling and schedule management
- Operation and moderation of community features
- Provision of recruitment and job application services
- Service operation, stability, and quality improvement
- Delivery of important service notices and mandatory communications
3. Third-Party Disclosure and Data Processing
The Service Provider may disclose information only in the following cases:
- When required by applicable laws or regulations
- When necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or others
- When required to provide services through trusted service providers who are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations
All disclosures are limited to the scope necessary to achieve the stated purposes.
3.1 Disclosure for Legal Obligations
The Service Provider may disclose user information in accordance with applicable laws when:
- There is a lawful request from law enforcement agencies, courts, or other public authorities
- Disclosure is necessary for criminal investigations, dispute resolution, or legal proceedings
- Disclosure is required to comply with legal obligations
In such cases, only the minimum amount of information necessary to fulfill the request will be provided.

The Service Provider retains personal information for as long as the user uses the Application and thereafter for a reasonable period in accordance with applicable laws.
Users may request deletion of their personal information at any time by contacting the Service Provider using the contact details below.
5. User Rights
Users have the following rights:
- To request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information
- To stop further information collection by uninstalling the Application
6. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Users must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction) to consent to the processing of personal information, unless parental or guardian consent is legally permitted.

The Service Provider implements physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains.
